ABSTRACT

This study was carried out to examine the impact of microcredit finance in the performance of small and mediums business enterprises  in  Lagos. Specifically, the study  Analyze the impact of microcredit finance in the performance of SME. The study also  Examine ways in which micro credit finance SME in Nigeria.lastly the study  Find out the challenges of financing SME in Nigeria.  The study employed the survey descriptive research design. A total of 77 responses were validated from the survey. From the responses obtained and analyzed, the findings revealed that banks can leverage their online platforms to enable virtual communities for the SMEs to connect with each other and with prospective customers and promote their products. Also, bank can increase profits from business accounts by improving your processes in services such as loans, and by offering small businesses all the banking services they need. Lastly,

banks can make it easier for small businesses to work with them through various perks such as low fees and better rates. The study hereby  recommend That MFIs and SMEs should be done sustainably. The Government should ensure that the institutions adhered to the laws and regulation of the country in a reasonable manner. The study also recommend That financial training should be provided by MFIs on their regular basis. MFIs can research into very profitable business lines and offer credit to clients who having the capacity to exploit such business in order to reduce the rates in case of any default arises.
